The only thing the world needs, is more tripods. AND KANES WRATH!

 #2 - Posted by: CnC_Fin (Member) on 10-22-2007 at 22:37
i said 3,400

#3 - Posted by: Poofyyoda (Member) on 10-23-2007 at 01:02
I like it as it is.
I think that the patch is going to make the game too slow.

The stuff in cnc3 are much more costly than in the other games, so harvesters need to collect more.

2400, cos i can play the game with that, its halfway between 2 much so to much stuff on the map and to little so it takes to long to get into the game. Plus If they were gonna make it less that would mean a mammy or tripods ect would be hard to build and seen as they generaly get owned wen theres only 1, it would be stupid to even have them!

 #5 - Posted by: Jamie05 (Member) on 10-23-2007 at 03:19
No way, 1400 for green, 2800 for blue like its going to be, yes it will slow the game down a tad but at least ppl cant spam units and build teir 3 tech at once.

Patch = Two Thumbs Up!

You can never get your hands on enough tripods!!!!!! 44k 1 build limit seems a little extreme, and your harvester would be in that feild for 10 mins before collecting all that! I could live with 1,400 if i had to, which i will.

I found the original CNC too fast paced, and too mutch based on expanding quickly and spamming. This made CNC more of a sport than actual strategy, i realy like the patches changes. Note also that the harvey's changes alone will make NOD a more viable choice if you want to use Stealthy tactics.

 #8 - Posted by: Majestic_XII (Member) on 10-23-2007 at 14:24
ehh its ok 1400$.otherwise Scrin should have more cuz they are tiberium based aliens. And yes its better with 1400 or less, cuz why building a mammoth tank without the railgun upgrade.I never see in game a mammoth without railgun upgrade.

The way it is now is fine, when they readjust the harvester limit it will really mess up the game. Not only making it too slow, but basically killing all known rush strategies since if one rushed, money would be very slow later.

Now for my serious suggestion:

I think they should make a middle thing...such as 1600 or 1700. It will not be enough for tons of the big stuff, but you can still have a few extra smaller units. Such as four Raider buggys or two pitbulls, and you can still have 1-300 credits in reserve

#11 - Posted by: Hbombs (Member) on 10-24-2007 at 04:35
maybe EA should make a slide bar in the options menu to designate how much the harvester will drop off.

you guys are mad. when you get a $44.000 worth tiberium carrieing harvester, it'll suck up the whole feld and go to the enemy's one. you just waste all your money.

I think EA shuold have left harvester dorp off alone other changes sound ok but not all I mean its same with crane EA cant leavf it alone so now crane cant build base defense why. I mean C&C3 is great but when these pacthers startted coming out they made the game go down hill in the changes that they done fixing error ok but ingame changes some ok but rest is a NO NO!!!.

44,000 For the One Harvester Build Limit thats mad how harvester will cost then?

#15 - Posted by: Forte (Member) on 10-25-2007 at 07:11
Perhaps the 44 K harvester was just a joke smile? A JOOOOKE!!!!1

#16 - Posted by: MrDavidoff (Member) on 10-26-2007 at 12:53
Again a good step forward from EA team smile
although.. it could be a little bit more for the green fields..
big grin

In CnC Gold isnt it only 700, but i guess things are cheaper eek!

 #18 - Posted by: Commander_Leigh (Member) on 10-29-2007 at 02:27

WELL, Myes. But things where mighty cheaper back then, and there were alot more build requirements. Now all the need is one darn building and you can get nearly everything. There was also alot more buildings to build back then too.

Lawl. I got the last comment. XD

Interesting how many people voted for the 44,000 drop off. It'd be interesting if we saw a minimod which does just that.

Put a slidebar for the user to choose how much the harvester can carry between 1.000 and 10.000
