Key:
- Power Requirement
- Amphibious
- Non Amphibious
Amplified Bark - Instant Ability.
Riot Shield - Toggled Ability switches between two modes.
Unpack - Targeted Ability must select a location or target before using.
Infantry:
War Bear - $225 - - A large bear that uses its terribly large claws to decimate infantry. It is a little bit stronger than a dog, but the dog can kill it in one bite.
Amplified Roar - Paralyzes (can't move or shoot) enemy infantry in a radius around the bear. This allows the bear to have a better chance against a mass of infantry. If you're watching your bear and there's another bear or a dog, press your growl before he does so you can paralyze him and guarantee the win.
Conscript - $100 - The basic Soviet infantry armed with a machine gun. It's good against infantry and that's about all.
Molotov Cocktails - Switches to the grenade-like weapon for plenty of damage against stationary targets.
Flak Trooper - $300 - A first tier infantry unit which shoots down aerial units. Not too fast, but you can garrison it in a building.
Mega Mines - The trooper loads his cannon with a delayed fuse mine and fires at ground targets. The mines stick to vehicles and structures and detonate after a few seconds. They don't stick to infantry, but they do quite a bit of damage to everything.
Combat Engineer - $500 - - He's back! The Soviet Engineer can heal friendly buildings to full health, capture enemy structures and tech structures. He drives a rubber dingy around in the water.
Battle Bunker - $1000 - The engineer can build a Battle Bunker anywhere on the battlefield in which you can place up to 5 infantry. They shoot out then.
Tesla Trooper - $750 - (Super Reactor) - He provides the same purpose as in Red Alert 2. It's a heavy infantry very good against vehicles. It can't be run over, can charge up Tesla Coils for extra damage and now can unfreeze frozen units and structures.
Electro Magnetic Disruptors - Switches between the zapping shock rifle and a gun which shuts down enemy vehicles for a time, but does no damage.
Natasha - $2000 - - (Battle Lab) - The new Soviet hero is a sniper capable of taking out infantry from long ranges. To handle structures and vehicles, she calls in an airstrike. In a few seconds (read about 10) an airplane bombs the targeted area causing quite a bit of damage. She wasn't very useful in the game, as she was overwhelmed too quickly and the plane took too long to hit the target. However, the plane still came and hit after Natasha moved away or died.
Kill Pilot - The targeted enemy vehicle becomes neutral and able to be commandeered by any infantry. Just like Jarmen Kell's sniper rifle.
Vehicles:
Ore Collector - $1400 - - This transports ore from the ore "place" to the refinery. It's undefended, and not well armored.
Chobham Armor - The unit has increased armor but moves more slowly.
Sputnik - $1400 - - This is a Soviet base expansion vehicle like the Surveyor from C&C3. Drive it around to where you want your new base and then deploy it to get ground control around there.
Unpack - deploys at the targeted location.
Terror Drone - $600 - - It's back and now it can walk on water! This lightly armored robot will attach itself to an enemy vehicle and then slowly tear it to shreds, then appearing for its next dismantling target. If this is used on you, you must get something to repair the vehicle, or it will eventually die. And now, ships are vulnerable.
Electro-Stasis Ray - Instead of taking apart the vehicle, it will fire a beam that makes it unable to move. It can still fire, but you can use this to pin retreating units down in case there is the threat of a repair IFV, or if you want to use the Hammer tank to borrow its weapon.
Sickle - $900 - A large walker vehicle armed with three anti-infantry cannons. Pretty much, if you send infantry against this, they die. It's decent against structures too.
Flea Jump - The vehicle jumps up or down a cliff or just over a structure to get out of the way. Or on to enemy infantry to crush them.
Bullfrog - $900 - - The new infantry transport for the Soviets. It can travel over land or water, and has a rather unique method of the infantry exiting the vehicle. It has twin cannons useful for taking out aircraft.
Man Cannon - Launches all the infantry into the air and toward the targeted location, over which they deploy parachutes and descend to the ground. It has about a half-screen range.
Hammer Tank - $1000 - (Super Reactor) - The main battle tank of the Soviets. It's good against vehicles and structures and bad against infantry. They can destroy any other main tank from the other sides.
Leech Beam - Slowly kills the vehicle, but rewards the killing tank with the weapon of the deceased vehicle. Endless possibilities!
V4 Rocket Launcher - $1200 - (Battle Lab) - The latest version of the V-series rocket launchers has arrived. This time, the missiles cannot be shot down. It is a long range missile launcher that does tremendous damage against structures and other non-moving objects. Guard it well because it is quite weak.
Multi-Warheads - The rocket fires as normal, but breaks into segments in the air and rains shrapnel down in the target area. Good against infantry.
Apocalypse Tank - $2000 - (Battle Lab) - The beastly tank is back! It has twin cannons and practically decimates anything it comes across. It is weak against infantry, but nothing else can stand up to Apocalypse tanks. Oh, and it can run over vehicles.
Magnetic Harpoon - This silences the main cannons while instead vehicles are tractor beamed into the rotating grinder maw of the tank, destroying them instantly.
Mobile Construction Vehicle - $5000 - (Super Reactor) - An unarmed vehicle which deploys to become a Construction Yard. It can take a beating, but don't leave it undefended.
Unpack - Deploys the Construction Yard at the targeted location.
Ships:
Stingray - $1600 - - This one is a new amphibious tesla boat/walker. It is rather effective against everything along the surface, but isn't as good at attacking other water units. It is better at killing non-submerged vehicles and structures. Infantry are taken out quickly as well.
Tesla Surge - The boat releases a blast of electricity in the surrounding water (can't be used on land) which damages or kills every enemy in the vincinty.
Akula Sub - $1800 - (Battle Lab) - The Soviets have a new submarine to take on all surface vessels. It must surface to fire torpedoes, but while submerged, it is undetected. It fires tracking torpedoes for magnificent damage against anything in the water.
Ultratorpedoes - Two torpedoes are fired simultaneously in the direction the boat is facing. They are dumb fire and will travel until they hit something. They do a larger amount of damage as well, so you could use them to attack a base defense from out of its range.
Dreadnaught - $2000 - (Battle Lab) - The decimator vessel is back with an extra missile launcher to bring it up to 3. The missiles cannot be shot down, but they do less damage than in RA2. So this will decimate any surface targets on land or sea, but the missiles do not track. You've gotta hit stationary targets, which makes this very good for base leveling.
Sacrifice Launchers - The missiles fire more rapidly, but the Dreadnaught takes damage slowly.
Aircraft:
Mig Fighter - $1000 - This is a solely anti-air VTOL fighter. It uses missiles to destroy whatever it flies near. My notes on this were missing. As in, I didn't take any So I think this is right.
Return to Airfield - The fighter heads back to rearm and reload.
Twinblade Helicopter - $1200 - A transport helicopter with a machine gun and rockets. It is decent against ground units, and doesn't have to reload at the airfield. The biggest strength is that it can carry either 5 infantry or some light vehicles.
Evacuate - The helicopter drops off its cargo at the current location.
Kirov Airship - $2500 - The blimp of doom. It rains down bombs which do tremendous damage to all sorts of ground targets. It moves very slowly but has plenty of armor. It is good against stationary targets, and if you get one to the enemy's base, the base dies.
Gastroburners - The Kirov moves faster, now at a more normal pace, but it is damaged slowly while this happens.
Structures: (All except Walls are buildable on water)
Wall - $100 - This fills in the gaps between the walls for another 100 each, or at least that's the plan. With the grid based building system, you can build walls everywhere!
Sentry Gun - $800 - 25 - An anti-infantry defense that pretty much tears them to shreds. It has a short range, but does plenty of damage.
Flak Cannon - $1000 - 25 - A dedicated anti-air turret. It isn't very accurate, but it takes down swarms of enemies with no problem.
Tesla Coil - $1200 - 75 (Super Reactor) - Vehicles beware, this defensive turret charges a large electric jolt and releases it on any surface unit. Massive damage ensues. It can out range most vehicles, but can't attack air. For extra power, you can send Tesla Troopers to charge it up.
Iron Curtain - $3000 - 75 (Super Reactor) - Every certain amount of time, the Iron Curtain will allow you to make several close units invulnerable for a short period. Useful if you'd rather your units not die.
Vacuum Imploder - $5000 - 75 (Battle Lab) - This is the main superweapon for the Soviets. It draws together all the units in a large radius and then has an explosion at the center. This pretty much kills all the units around. It's rather awesome looking, but against buildings, it's rather useless.
Powers:
Production Kickbacks - You may gain some cash when your units are destroyed.
Salvage Crusher Treads - Heavy vehicles get health from crushing vehicles. This means mainly the Apocalypse tanks. It could be other units if you run over shrunk vehicles.
Orbital Debris - Satellites fall down from orbit to damage the targeted location. Also, a number (up to a set maximum) of the units you picked up with Magenetic Satellites will fall down too.
Orbital Dump - More space debris!
Orbital Downpour - The Mir space station itself. Ok, maybe not, but at least more stuff comes down from the sky.
Magnetic Singularity - All units in a short radius are drawn to a single point.
Magnetic Satellite - A satellite from orbit turns on its magnetic beam to draw vehicles from earth to the sky!
Super-Magnetic Satellite - The beam lasts longer.
Ultra-Magnetic Satellite - The beam lasts even longer.
Mass Production - There is a 25% cost reduction on all your vehicles, both Naval, Air and Land.
Terror Drone Revenge - When your units are destroyed, there is a possibility of a Terror Drone climbing out of the wreckage.
Toxin Corrosion - Units in small target area are slowly damaged and leave a toxin trail when they move, which in turn damages more units.
Desolator Airstrike - An airplane drops toxins on a targetted area for plenty of damage all around.
Desolator Dual Airstrike - Two planes drop toxins.
Desolator Delta Airstrike - Three planes drop toxins for the largest radius.

.....Shieettt...
I īll miss the nuke to...
On the Factions page, the listing for the Soviet Engineer says it's a Combat Engineer. Does it have a gun, or does this refer to the Battle Bunker ability?
No gun, they just wanted a different name for it I guess. I'll update this page to reflect that.
Bear Calvary! Hahaha!
I don't want to hear about how if the USSR got rid of Einstein there wouldn't be any nukes because the Allies still habe their Chronosphere so why is the USSR lacking its nuclear*****nal?
EA has seriously screwed up RA3, anyone remember what made RA2 sooooo good? I don't even think I'll buy this game as I am a die-hard C&C fan.
I looked at the Empire(looks more like a modification then an actual game) I'm not sure about the Allies, but they'll possibly suck to...
the one mod for Generals(RA3) sounds and looks a lot better(when I say look, it means it gets the units how they look) the 3d graphics are bad I must admit though.
the war bear should be for russia, allies should have a eagle or something
hail the soviets and play for mother Russia
I'll probably buy RA3, play it for a day or two, then sell it to Gamestop and buy more Halo 3 figures with the money from the game or save that money so that I can use it to buy Halo Wars.
EA owned westwood since Renegade came out ur just one the sheer fanatics who dont pay any attention at all to the company RA2 has the EA brand on the little line of writing on the bottom of the discs, YR,TS and Renegade has the logo. Westwood would not have survived without EA so im asking u as well as every other moron who doesnt even bother to look at the brands. GET THE BLEEP OVER IT!!!!!!!!
