| MegaPort One - File Description |

Description:
MegaPort One is a large GDI port that has been built in open water. Nod has mounted an attack on the port in order to cripple the GDI supply lines. The GDI were caught off guard (again!), and with the port about to be over-run had only one option which was to to respond with extreme measures. This is when players start on the map.
The map has many bridges inter-linking the port areas and there are capturable GDI vehicle factories, tech centers, refineries, deployed rigs, EMPs, tiberium spikes and silos. Also look out for money crates.
There some AI Mammoths to deal with before reaching the center of the map, and beware of broken down nuke transports!

This is an 8 player free-for-all map for Command and Conquer 3.
There is no tiberium at the start locations, instead you'll have 2 tiberium spikes and 2 silos. Then you have
to fight over the blue tiberium fields and additional spikes. The map rewards players that advance, but is also
highly defendable. Bunkers and building are stronger than normal and therefore are worth garrisoning.

We play with the Advanced Tiberium Wars mod (http://www.moddb.com/mods/10244/tiberium-wars-advanced/downloads)
and have a map pack that consists of similar maps. Feel free to drop in to our forum.

How to install C&C 3 maps
Windows XP Users:
To install the maps if your using Windows XP, simply extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file to
your C:Documents and Settings:[USER LOGIN NAME]:Application Data:Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars:Maps:MAPNAME
folder on your hard drive.
The MAPNAME will of course be the name of the map. EG if a map was called "TiberiumWars" you would extract contents of the .zip file to the C:Documents and Settings[USER LOGIN NAME]Application DataCommand & Conquer 3 Tiberium WarsMapsTiberiumWars folder. Some zip files might be set up so the folder is created for you when you unzip it.
How to install C&C 3 maps
Windows Vista Users:
The process is the same but the location is different. To install the maps if your using Windows Vista,
simply extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file to your
C:Users:[USER LOGIN NAME]:AppData:Roaming:Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars:Maps:MAPNAME folder on your hard drive.
If you can't see the "Application Data" Folder, do the following;
1. Open your control panel
2. OPen "Folder options" (In vista click "Appearance and Personalization" first if you aren't in classic view)
3. Click the "view" tab
4. Click the "Show hidden files and folders" button
5. Click ok
6. Look for "application data" again |  |

You can see other maps in their current state if you visit my clan website & forum (www.talonclan.com). Most of the maps I make are big maps with strong defenses.
I don't think the map will be made into a mission unless someone else wants to do it, sorry. |

You have to follow the installation instructions closely because maps install to an unusual location. Alternatively you can try a program that does it for you like;

I think that connecting the bridges you referred to, would change the way that the map plays too much and would also mean that 4 bases had to defend multiple bridges connected to their bases which wouldn't be fair. But I appreciate the feedback.

I just went against 4 Brutal Scrins with 3 GDI brutal allies, and them scrins got past the mammoths Waaaaaaaaaay faster then we did, so by the time we finally got some good resources, tripods were rampaging through the middle. All the refineries were lost, but I managed to orcastrike all the bridges that stood between us and the scrin.
Then I made a fleet of orcas to take some bases out. In the end I destroyed one of the scrins fully before all my resources went out, plus them rift generators werent helping either.
All in all:
