Its to do with the Macro Texture: the option box in the editor does not work, but an easy was for you is to do as follows:
Load up one of my (or another) maps with rain on it -
Then click 'New' map under file. The macro will be carried across.
Then select rainy under map options.
To add rain to an existing map you need to make a new one with the same dimensions as the existing one, then 'import scripts' (Which includes objects etc.) from your existing one.
Are all of these multiplayer only or do they have AI too?
#2, thanks! It'll help me
*3 They all have AI and can be played as skirmishs.
Cool. Downloading now.
I havent played CNC 3 in 6 months... but your maps are making me load it up again! Especially maps 4, 5, and 6... awesome job
#5, the map in screen shot 1, doesn't have AI, I tried but enemy did nothing
And how did you make the bridge in San Francisco map?
*8. Your right, it does'nt, at least not for kanes wrath sides. But original GDI, Nod and Scrin should work. Sorry about that.
The bridge took a long time and is made using oil pipes and metal posts. The road is normal texturing on a hill, but the slopes are invisible.
how did you make an invisible slope?
Its done in textures. under the list with texture thumbnails there's some options like:
Passability
Visibility
Tiberium Growability
etc
Its also how some mappers get the centre of tiberium fields to have crystals in the centre vein, before i used to make a hole and raise the tib' field up out of it.
pretty good. im working on a some maps of my own but cant figure out how to put down player starting points. Please help me and put answers on my post.
#12
If it is for CnC3 (RA3 is probably similar), do the following:
Click the 'Waypoints' icon (On the top right of the toolbar)
Place a waypoint where the player is going to start.
On the waypoint options, which appear on the box that is always onscreen, click in the top field.
The dropdown button will show :
Initial Camera Position
Player_1_Start
Player_2_Start
....... etc
Select the player point you wish that waypoint to be the start of.
Hope this helps!
