| BattleCast Viewer - File Description |
 |
Description: If you do not have C&C3, and would like to watch C&C3 games, then this is for you! You can watch any replays from downloads, and any live matches from the official BattleCast Website This is a step towards RTS as a Sport, which EA touted largely in preparation for C&C3. Will it catch on? It has a much greater chance now that you don't have to buy a major RTS to see what it's all about.
Now, if you do have C&C3, you don't need to download this. You've got all the features of this plus you can actually play the matches.

Bloody moochers should get their own copies. D:
whats the point of this for theso who all redly got C&C 3 and lol to #2
If you were dedicated enough to watch a match you'd probably have the game anyway like me
Some people use more than one computer, like me, the computer I am using now doesn't have C&C3 on it, but my other computer does, so this seems pretty useful
the point you ask? they've explained this many times, its because when you wonder if you want it and then watch these AMAZING battlecasts you say "I want one NOW"!!!!! Money money money is what its about, besides the RTS thing anyways. It's sure to catch some curious eyes.
Not the smallest file i've ever seen :O
#6 is right. Someone downloads this, they watch one good match and they think to themselves "I've got to get this game!" So they go down to the store and put some money into EA's pockets.
I agree. If EA would not have thought they'd get money out of this, they wouldn't have done it. On the other side, they also wouldn't have made it if it didn't have any benefit to people.
I think this'll provide more people with the ability to see if they like C&C3 before they buy it. Something like a dynamic, non-playable demo. Watch this be the beginning of a trend, and perhaps someday it'll be popular among non-players to watch matches.
what're the requirements?
